Survey Says...

So my friend Erin tagged me in this bitch, so I'm doing this just for her, though I suspect that Karen, Christina, Adena and Elizabeth will like it too. And maybe even Rick whose a new reader of this ole blog.

Fraking Rules:

1) Link to the person who tagged you.
2) Paste these rules on your blog post.
3) Respond to the following prompts.

4) Add a prompt of your own and answer it.
5) Tag a few other bloggers at the bottom of the post.
6) Leave “Tagged You” notices on their blog/Facebook
7) Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve written the post.

I giggled outwardly at your number five answer. Thanks for being a sport and partaking in the silly survey. Love the answers; and yes, SINGLES. How could I forget? EPIC. I think my husband would agree with you, too - he pretty much modeled his desire to be a transportation planner after Campbell Scott's character - though he didn't propose to me while eating a hotdog.

1) The best investment you ever made:
at first, i read this as "the best instrument you ever made" and it took me a second to figure out what sort of questionnaire this was.

...yeah, that one time i whittled a flute out of some pine. (is that even possible?)

thinking of investments my mind immediately thinks in terms of tangible items. i begin to wonder what i've purchased is most financial feasible or rational; but that's so superficial-seeming. so, i'll have to say trusting myself. this has, in turn, led me towards a solo euro trip, moving 3,000 miles away from home, in addition to other traits that have slowly started to wither away at my dependency and "clinginess," and have made me a stronger person.

2) If you could’ve written any book, directed any movie, and composed any song, which three would you pick:
Book: harry potter series, rowling
Movie: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, gondry
Song: yesterday, beatles

these decisions are mainly financial (as i'd love to reap the monetary benefits--but they're also chosen for their artistic merits. after all, i could've gone with the twilight series and the hannah montana movies.)

3) Weirdest quirk:
have a closeted sense of morbidity

4) One wish immediately granted:
unwavering happiness for myself and the ones i love

5) Most expensive hobby:
your mum

6) An inexhaustible gift-card at which store:
duh, target

7) In another lifetime, you’d be:
anne boleyn
(p.s., LOVE your answer, shel.)

8) The most famous/interesting member of your family tree:
my family tree's been through a metaphorical tornado. next...

9) What would you say to your teenage self?
sweet baby jesus in a manger, fucking relax!

10) Which celebrity would you most want to look like?
sandra bullock. heh.

11) What would your last meal be?
anything made by my mum

12) What's your favorite place on earth?
cesky krumlov, czech republic and anywhere else that can make my heart sing with its trees, water, people, sky. i'm a also a closeted hippie.
